Probably my last journal in 2009

Tue Dec 29, 2009, 12:38 AM
Hello everyone! Now that it's been a couple days past, and everyone has probably gotten those obligatory "Merry Xmas!" journals out of their messages. I come here, late as always, to hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Cx I'm also here to wish you, before the second wave of obligatory "happy new year!" journals hits your inboxes, to wish you a happy, prosperous, and safe new year. :w00t:

And as some of you guys may have noticed, and others maybe not, I got a tablet for Christmas. I hope to make some stuffs with it in the future, but of course, i'll never forget my "traditional roots" :meow: so not to worry!

As for my new years resolution, it's to be more active on deviant art next year-- Not only that, but to really push myself with my own art. Hehe, I almost can't believe the year is practically gone.

So now! I have a question for you guys.

What is your new years resolution?

Well time to get that journal off my page.

You know, on my monitor "deviantArt green" looks like gray, so I never realized what the heck they meant with the term. That was until my teacher projected something onto the screen from deviantArt at school. Then, I understood why they call it "deviantArt green".

Lots of unlucky school-related things have been happening to me as of late. It's not as bad as you think it is though, it's not worth mentioning. In a nutshell, I'm just really tired.

So tell me guys, how are you?

Well that was an epic bust

Normally I don't like to post journals complaining, but I thought you guys should know what happened this weekend at the art festival. And well I was really taking advantage of this awesome free journal skin opportunity.

Well any who, the fail was not epic exactly. I did get to sell one piece, but our stall at the art show did not make much sales this year. Economic recession in the flesh >.O

Also, it was windy and it was blowing our pieces everywhere. In fact, at one time a piece was blown over my head and onto a poor doggy.

We were sharing a stall with another high school that was selling already framed paintings for a much cheaper price than our stuff too. :C

I stood for two and half hours talking to people about our program and stuff, which did not do my fail knees any good at all. And when I began a conversation with a lady with her group of friends all of them yelled ":U GO TO THE OTHER SIDE, IT'S BETTER." She left, of course, to the other side... ._. I was so heartbroken, as she was looking at one of my pieces.

On the lighter side, I got to see beautiful works of art on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Perhaps our next show in January won't be as bad.

That's all I got for now guys~
p.s. Anyone have any ideas for stuff I can make for this next show in January?

Hows it going?

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last journal, in my opinion, you guys all had great answers. ^^

This week was one of the worst ever for me, :iconmirokumustanglee: knows it so well :'D as we exchanged rants on msn yesterday.

But all the trouble was for a good cause, I think. This weekend I'll be selling work along with my classmates at a local art festival. Here's what I'll be selling:

>> [link] (2 x 2 1/2ft),
>> also, this [link] (12 x 18in) among others.

If there is anyone in Miami who's interested in coming by send me a message :3

And y'know : o if anyone of yous have msn (or yahoo) and want to talk send me a note, I'm totally cool with it.

Well that's all I gotta say for now~
p.s. I wish I could see the Thunderbirds ; A ; I can hear the f-16's from my house.

I happened to find an interesting question last week.

It goes like this:

Which would you rather have, money or time?

I'd like to hear from you guys, so please leave a comment.

~P.S. There is no both! Choose one or the other.
